Biography
Nicola Browne been photographing gardens since 1997, prior to that working as a photojournalist in her native New Zealand. Nicola focus’s on the work of contemporary garden designers both in the UK and abroad, travelling extensively making magazine features to commission or photographing on spec to support her library.
Nicola was the sole photographer for Dan Pearson’s book ‘Home Farm’ and has had several special commissions from Terrance Conran’s ‘Essential Garden Book’ to Piet Oudolf’s ‘Designing with Plants’. She has two books of her work due out, Monty &Sarah Don’s ‘The Jewel Garden and Noel Kingsbury’s ‘Gardens by Design’.
